Anaeho’omalu Sunset

The world is full of beautiful sunsets but nowhere are they as romantic and captivating as on the Big Island. Find a quiet spot where there’s no one else around except the one you love.

This series of pictures was taken May 19, 2009, (just after the first Lahaina Noon) at Anaeho’omalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. They show how the palm trees can provide a captivating silhouette against the fading sun and the color changes that occur.
