Kolea is a one of a kind complex in style and location. 16B was very centrally located in terms of the pool, beach and shops. It was an easy 10 min walk to Queens and 5 to Kings and about 3 to the pool. The unit was beautifully decorated and outfitted with just about everything one needs including pantry basics, toiletries, towels, etc. The unit also had beach toys, chairs, mats, towels, etc. The home was spacious and flowed well. The corner location was ideal with all the windows and the a/c rarely had to be used. The outdoor BBQ made for perfect lazy evenings. The only drawback was the pool area that lacked a BBQ due to renter abuse. A Bay was great for snorkeling and lounging on chairs that are provided.

This holiday was our 6th year (in a row) on the Big Island (2nd in Waikoloa district) and Kolea 16B is by far the best and nicest stay. After a long trip (+20hr flight time, we’re from the Netherlands) we were overwhelmed by the beauty of this condo and were in love with it at once. Also the Welcome bag with coffee, chocolates and brochures was much appreciated

My wife likes to lay on the beach (A-Bay is less then 5 min walking from the condo) and I’m a fanatic big game fisherman so we both enjoy/love the Big Island. The harbour is only a nice 20min drive from Kolea 16B. The condo is very well equipped and there is a grocery store in Queens shops (with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat etc.) and also very reasonable priced. The location of the condo is also very good situated, so it’s a good “operating base” for trips to the North-East-South

We can highly recommend this condo for a nice and beautiful stay on the Big Island and to enjoy nice sunsets on the beach every night

We had a wonderful time during our trip to the Big Island! Condo 16B was lovely. It was even better than the pictures. We appreciated all the supplies (coolers, towels, beach equipment, spices, etc). And my kids loved having their own TV in the room they were sharing. We would love to come back some day.

Many thanks for the very prompt return of security deposit. We have been home in England for 2 days now, but are still very jet lagged! I will certainly fill in the comments form (which I have already rec’d) and hope I will do it justice in my fog-brained state! We loved staying at 16B – it was absolutely perfect. We stayed in 3 VRBO rentals, total, on our Hawaii trip – and, although the other two were also very nice, when we opened the door to your condo, we said, in unison, ‘this is the best’!

I will also write a review on VRBO, but it might not be for a day or two. I will be more than happy to recommend the condo to anybody and everybody. Thank you for letting us stay!

We enjoyed a fabulous 4-night stay at 16B Kolea and we only have good words to say. Everything, from location, to cleanliness, to comfort, to space, were wonderful. Thank you, also, for the goody bag, which was much appreciated. If we ever visit Hawaii again, we will not hesitate, for one second, to stay in your condo again. A million mahalos!
